Well, this only sounds simple, but believe us, it needs enormous efforts to keep an organization going.
Every organization, with two employees or thousands of them, needs to ensure that all its systems have secured connections and perform smoothly to address the needs of its employees in a dedicated, small budget. What is System Administrator role and responsibilities? The System Admin needs to update all the software, install or upgrade the computer components, provide routine automation, maintain security policies, troubleshoot, train and supervise staff and also offer technical support for all users and projects of the organization.

System Admin Day is celebrated each year on the last Friday of July since 1999, in honor of dedicated and hard working computer dweebs in the organization to appreciate and offer recognition for their long working hours. One person or a team who work INCREDIBLY HARD behind the scenes to ensure that our system works well, network is up right, files are backed up, and all problems are fixed before we come to know. He is the person who keeps everything running smoothly for us.
