How To Disable Windows XP Error Reporting?

As well as it is responsible to notify you about issues within other programs running on Windows XP installed computers. On the other hand, this facility assists you to notify Microsoft about the errors.

Afterwards, Microsoft offers better assistance to fix the issues with required add-ins. Do you want to disable this feature from your Windows XP system?

If yes then, follow outlined process that is elaborated in clear steps. The process is easy as well as you can execute it within 5 minutes. Here it is:

  • Start panel -> Move to Control Panel.
  • Go with Performance and Maintenance link.

Note: For classic view under Control Panel, need to double click System Icon, no need to follow step 4

  • Go with Control Section -> Click on System link
  • System Properties -> go with Advanced Tab
  • At bottom of Window, move ahead with Error Reporting tab
  • Opt ‘Disable error reporting radio’ button within this Error Reporting window
  • Move on with OK tab
  • Go with OK button resides within System Properties wizard
  • Close the Control panel

Restart the system and you will find that your computer will not show any ‘error reporting’ pop-up.
